Paris Saint-Germain have secured the Ligue 1 title without a single defeat, marking another dominant season under Luis Enrique.
The Parisians clinched the championship with a 1-0 victory over SCO Angers on Saturday evening at the Parc des Prince with six games to spare.
The decisive goal came in the 55th minute, with 19-year-old Désiré Doué slotting home at the far post after a superb in-swinging cross from Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The former Napoli star joined PSG in January for €70 million and has quickly made an impact.
PSG’s record now stands at 23 wins and five draws from 28 matches, leaving them comfortably ahead of the competition.
AS Monaco trail by 24 points in second place, while Olympique Marseille are 25 points behind in third.
This triumph marks the 13th Ligue 1 title in PSG’s history. The club, founded in 1970, claimed its first titles in 1985/86 and 1993/94. Since being taken over by Qatar Sports Investments in 2011, PSG have lifted the league trophy 11 times in 13 seasons. Only AS Monaco (2017) and Lille (2021) have interrupted their reign.
For captain Marquinhos, who joined from AS Roma in 2013, this latest success represents his 10th Ligue 1 title with the club.
