The Premier League has launched an investigation on the large amount of hate mail that Anthony Taylor received after the last match, between Bournemouth and Chelsea.
Taylor has been in the spotlight since the last Premier League round.
This is because the 45-year-old Englishman has received many hate messages after the last round, when he handed out 14 yellow cards in the match.
It was a new record, as a referee has never previously issued that number of cards in the English top flight.
In addition, the English refereeing body, PGMOL, reports that they have dropped Taylor for this weekend game instead he will serve as the fourth referee.
