Nottingham Forest was brought back down to earth on Saturday as they fell 2-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Fresh off their emphatic 7-0 thrashing of Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend at the City Ground, Forest entered the match with confidence. However, it was the hosts who struck first in the 28th minute through Emile Smith Rowe.

Forest responded ten minutes later when Chris Wood found the equalizer to restore parity.

The decisive moment came in the 67th minute when Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey, stepped up to score the winning goal, securing all three points for Fulham.
