Former Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has hailed the Atalanta manager Giani Gasperini for the decent performance of Ademola Lookman.
The Nigerian International was crowned the most valuable player on the continent on Monday in Marakech, Morocco.
Peseiro said the freedom Gasperini gave Lookman played a vital role in his development.
“I think giving Lookman the freedom to move around has allowed him to show his quality, both in terms of decision making and execution,”Peseiro told Sportitalia.
” Of course the club and Gasperini have provided Lookman with the environment to grow as a player in all aspects.”
Lookman has already scored 11 goals for La Dea this season.
