Following the recent poor performance of the team, the manager of the English Premier League champions Manchester City Pep Guardiola has criticized himself.
Manchester City suffered a stinging defeat to local rivals Manchester United, who turned a 0-1 deficit into 2-1 in the final two minutes.
This means Manchester City are now up to 11 matches in which they have only won a single game in all competitions.
“We haven’t lost eight games in two seasons. We can’t defend that. It’s not about one player or another”.
“We gave away goals, our fault. We play without calm. The results are not good, the game was not exceptional. I know the situation, but that’s the reality.
“In the field you have to be careful. It’s not about Nunes, he played really well in an unfamiliar back position. It’s not about us having to play better”.
“I’m not good enough. I’m the boss, the leader, I have to find solutions, and so far I haven’t. That’s the reality.
“We want to play better, create chances. But at the moment it’s not possible”, he stated.
