Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has set his sights on winning the UEFA Champions League Golden Boot after netting a sensational hat-trick against Ajax.
The Nigerian forward currently leads the scoring chart with six goals in four appearances, continuing his impressive form on Europe’s biggest stage.
Speaking after the game, the 26-year-old expressed confidence in his ability to maintain his scoring run, while crediting his teammates for their support.
“Of course, I think I have the quality to do so, but I do it with the support of my teammates. They love giving me the ball, just like they did today,” Osimhen said.
“It’s a team effort, and I believe that with my teammates and their support, it’s definitely possible. I will fight for it.”
