Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, delivered another standout performance on Sunday as Galatasaray played out a thrilling draw against Kasimpasa.
With Mauro Icardi sidelined for the season due to injury, Osimhen has stepped up as a key goal scorer for the Red and Yellow.
Playing away, the Nigerian international put Galatasaray ahead in the 12th minute, converting from the penalty spot. However, Kasimpasa responded early in the second half with goals from Ben and Josip to take the lead.
Mario Lemina leveled the score for Galatasaray in the 69th minute, and just two minutes later, Osimhen restored their lead. But the visitors couldn’t hold on, as Hajradin equalized from the penalty spot, ensuring both teams shared the points.
