Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been honoured with the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Season award.
The Galatasaray forward earned the accolade for his stunning acrobatic strike against Antalyaspor in October 2024, a goal that came late in the match and drew widespread praise.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Yellow and Reds on a season-long loan from Napoli last September, made a huge impact in his debut campaign. He finished as the league’s top scorer with 26 goals and found the net 37 times in all competitions under coach Okan Buruk.
The award-winning goal was Osimhen’s third in the league at the time, and one of many highlights in a remarkable season.
