Few days after the Super Eagles of Nigeria experienced maltreatment in Libya, the coach of Fenerbahce Jose Mourinho said defender Bright Osayi-Samuel is yet to fully recovered.
When he rejoined the team, Osayi-Samuel did not play in the last weekend game against Samsunspor but made a return to the team in the UEFA Europa league game against Manchester United.
Despite having a decent outing in the game, he was subbed off as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Portuguese gaffer insisted that the Nigerian International is still feeling something in his stomach.
” Osayi had cramp during the match, he was injured for 3 weeks, he went to the national team but experienced strange things there”.
” Strange things happened to them in Libya, we played him and he did a very good job while he was on the field but it wasn’t an injury”, the coach explained.
