Nigerian international Paul Onuachu continued his impressive scoring form on Monday evening, leading Trabzonspor to a comfortable 3–1 victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish league.
The Super Eagles striker was the standout performer for the visitors, opening the scoring in the 45th minute to give Trabzonspor the lead just before halftime.
Two minutes later, Onuachu struck again to double the advantage, putting his side firmly in control of the contest.
Trabzonspor extended their lead through Bilal, who made it three for the visitors to seal the win. The hosts managed to pull one back late in the game through Onugkha, but it proved to be only a consolation.
Onuachu has been in fine form since the start of the season, and his brace in the match took his tally to 20 goals across all competitions, underlining his importance to Trabzonspor’s attacking force.
