The dismal performance of the Team Nigeria in Paris reached the crescendo on Friday morning with another medal hopeful Tobi Amusan who failed to qualify for the final of the women’s 100m hurdles.

The World record holder is one of the favourites bookmakers picked to win the gold but it was a different story on Friday.

She reached the semi final on Wednesday winning her heat and sent a warning signal to other competitors.

The Nigerian International started the semi final very poor and could only finish in 3rd with a time of 12.55s and bowed out of the games.

This is the second time Amusan will be competing at the Olympic Games.
