Team Nigeria 4×400 has been disqualified due to a technical glitch in their race on Friday morning in Paris.
The team finished second in heat 2 behind France and qualified automatically for the final of the event.
Nigeria was however disqualified for stepping on the line in their heat.
The nation’s woes at the 2024 Olympic Games continued as Elizabeth Anyanacho, the nation’s sole representative in Taekwando also crashed out.
The two time Olympian lost to China’s Song Jie 2-1 despite starting her fight on an impressive note.
