Team Nigeria women’s Basketball, D’Tigress produced a magnificent performance to secure a victory against the Opal of Australia at the Paris 2024 Olympics opener.
The Aussie started the game strongly in the first quarter but D’Tigress recovered to win the quarter 18-17.
D’Tigress continue their impressive performance in the 2nd quarter and they are top of the game by halftime 41-28.
The Opals raised their game in the 3rd quarter to close the gap but it was the Nigerian side who won the quarter 51-47.
The African champions produced another impressive performance in the final quarter to wrap up the game and secured a 75-62 win.
