Nigeria’s D’Tigress cruise into the knockout round of the Olympic Games in Paris, France, with another scintillating performance against Canada.
After suffering a defeat in the second group game against the host France, the Nigerian side bounced back strongly with 79-70 against Canada.
Both sides tied at 18-18 after the first quarter and it was Canada who took charge of the game with 41-37 at halftime.
D’Tigress bounced back strongly and dominated the game in the 3rd quarter 55-46 before wrapping up the game with 79-70 points.
