Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal in the 60th meeting between the two tennis greats at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The 37-year-old Serb defeated the 38-year-old Spaniard in straight sets of 6-1, 6-4. Nadal was 4-0 down in the second set, but made it exciting.

After 1 hour and 44 minutes, Djokovic, who is chasing his first Olympic title in Paris, stepped off the clay of Court Philippe Chatrier, the main court of Roland Garros, as the winner.

On the clay of Roland Garros, the score was 8-2 in Nadal’s favor. After the first and last Olympic meeting between Nadal and Djokovic, it is now 8-3.
