The Olympic Games flag arrived in Los Angeles on Monday evening, where the Games will be held in 2028.
At the airport of the American city, Mayor Karen Ruth Bass had the honor of carrying the flag.
The flag departed the shore of Paris on Sunday evening following the conclusion of the games.
In the summer of 2028 Los Angeles will welcome the World for an unparalleled Olympic and Paralympic games experience as the best atheletes from around the globe compete on the biggest stage in sports.
The LA28 games will mark Los Angeles third time hosting the Olympic games and first time hosting the paralympic games.
The games will run from July 14 to August 15, 2028.
