Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has fully recovered from injury and has rejoined his Udinese teammates for training.

The 25-year-old shot-stopper had been sidelined since December 2024 due to a torn Scapholunate ligament in his right wrist.

According to Italian outlet Tutto, Okoye returned to training on Wednesday alongside the rest of the squad.

“Wednesday marked a day of returns at the Bruseschi sports center, where several players who have been absent in recent weeks due to injuries were seen back on the field,” the report stated.

“Alongside Keinan Davis and Kingsley Ehizibue, Maduka Okoye also participated in this week’s session as they prepare for the upcoming match against Napoli. The Nigerian goalkeeper, who has been recovering from a wrist injury since early December, has now rejoined his teammates in training.”
