French Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille have officially completed the signing of Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi from Belgian club Zulte Waregem.

The 22-year-old becomes the latest Nigerian international to join the former European champions, following in the footsteps of Joseph Yobo, Wilson Oruma and Taye Taiwo, who all previously featured for the French side.

Nnadi was part of Nigeria’s squad at the recently concluded 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where he gained valuable international exposure and further boosted his profile on the continental stage.

The highly-rated midfielder has been one of the standout performers in Belgium, with his consistent displays for Zulte Waregem attracting strong interest from several European clubs before Marseille moved decisively to secure his signature.

Marseille confirmed the deal on their official platforms, welcoming the Nigerian star as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season and their push for domestic and continental success.

Nnadi is expected to undergo full integration into the Marseille first-team setup in the coming days, with fans eager to see the Super Eagles star begin his Ligue 1 journey.
