Ethan Nwaneri was named Arsenal’s Player of the Match following their 2-0 victory against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in Saturday’s Premier League clash.

The young midfielder delivered an exceptional performance, standing out in a Gunners side dealing with numerous injuries, particularly in their forward line.

Nwaneri capped his impressive display with a crucial assist for Mikel Merino, who broke the deadlock in the 81st minute.

The academy graduate edged out stiff competition from Merino, who scored both goals, as well as Gabriel Magalhães and Declan Rice.

Nwaneri secured 56% of the votes, with Merino receiving 42%, while Rice and Gabriel picked up two and one vote, respectively.
