Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie continues to make waves in England with her outstanding performances for Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Nigerian international, who joined the Women’s Super League (WSL) outfit last summer from Paris FC Féminine, has been in superb form since her arrival, delivering a series of commanding displays between the sticks.
On Monday, the league organizers announced the shortlist for the Save of the Month award, and Nnadozie’s name was among the nominees following her remarkable stop in Brighton’s recent league fixture.
She will be competing for the award alongside Phallon Tullis-Joyce (Manchester United), Emily Ramsey (Everton), Daphne van Domselaar (Aston Villa), and Janina Leitzig (Leicester City).
Nnadozie’s nomination further underlines her growing reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in women’s football and a key figure for both her club and the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
