Nigerian forward Akor Adams etched his name into Sevilla’s history books on Sunday after scoring his first-ever La Liga goal, which proved decisive in their narrow away victory over Rayo Vallecano.
The encounter, played at the Estadio de Vallecas, was finely balanced until the closing stages when Adams, introduced in the 69th minute for Romero, rose to the occasion. With just three minutes of regulation time left, the Nigerian striker found the back of the net in the 87th minute, sealing all three points for the Andalusian side.
