The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) have selected Petit Stade in Kigali, Rwanda, as the host venue for the 21st edition of the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Africa camp.

Scheduled from Saturday, August 23 to Tuesday, August 26, this will mark the first time the NBA and FIBA’s flagship basketball development and community outreach programme will take place in East Africa, following previous editions in Angola, Egypt, Senegal, and South Africa.

BWB Africa 2025 will assemble 60 of the continent’s top male and female players aged 18 and under, offering them the opportunity to train under the guidance of current and former NBA, WNBA, and FIBA stars, legends, and coaches, while competing with peers from across Africa.

In addition to on-court activities, participants and coaches whose names will be announced ahead of the event will engage in life-skills workshops, leadership training, and social responsibility initiatives.
