Newly appointed coach of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles is set to dump the team before resuming due to negotiations issues.
The German coach was appointed earlier in the week to take charge of the team ahead of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
According to the latest update from Germany, Labbadia has decided to ignore Nigeria after failing to agree with the Nigeria Football Federation.
If he failed to resume, NFF will have no choice than to appoint an interim coach who take charge of the team for the upcoming qualifiers next week.
Super Eagles will face Benin in the opening qualifier before playing Rwanda a few days later in Kigali.
