Lookman showed great composure in the 38th minute when he received a precise pass inside the box and fired a powerful left-footed strike past the Milan goalkeeper.
Despite Milan’s late pressure which led to an equalizer, Lookman’s tireless performance, creativity, and goal contribution stood out, earning him the Man of the Match award.
The reigning African Player of the Year will be hoping the goal marks the beginning of a consistent scoring run as Atalanta continue their push for a top-four finish in the Serie A.
