Former Super Eagles midfielder and coach Sunday Oliseh has said it will be a disaster if Nigeria failed to qualify for the next World Cup.
Super Eagles last appeared at the World Cup in 2018 and failed to reach 2022 with a defeat against the arch-rival the Black Stars of Ghana.
Oliseh via Supersport TV said it will disastrous if Super Eagles failed to qualify for the next World Cup.
” Africa could be represent by as many as 10 countries at the next World Cup, we’re at the risk of not being one of these countries and it will be a disaster if Nigeria do not qualify”.
” I was at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar for 6 weeks on the FIFA study Group and it was painful that Nigeria were not there”, he said.
The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in their next game in the qualifier in March 2025.
