Barely 48 hours to the proposed international friendly against Nigeria, the reports from the camp of France Women’s national team is not palatable.
The team resumed training earlier in the week and two star players Griedge Mbock and Élisa De Almeida sustained an injury.
The interim coach of the team Laurent Bonadie on Thursday confirmed the ouster of the players and further stated that they will not be replaced.
“I wanted them to be with us because they missed the first training camp and we are doing a lot of tactical work on the game systems that we want to put in place, in addition to creating a group,” Bonadie said.
“We are laying the foundations of the project. I wanted them to be involved in it.”
The game is slated for Kopa in Angers on Saturday.
