Venezuela has rolled out a formidable squad ahead of their much-anticipated international friendly clash with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The two football federations the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the Venezuelan Football Association  reached an agreement earlier this month to stage the warm-up game in Houston, United States.

With Nigeria preparing for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, the fixture is expected to serve as a valuable test for the Super Eagles as they fine-tune their strategies ahead of the continental showpiece.

On their part, Venezuela will be using the encounter to sharpen their squad and continue building momentum on the international stage.

The South Americans are bringing a strong roster, packed with top performers from Europe and their domestic league, in what promises to be a stern examination for Nigeria.

The friendly is being billed as more than just a tune-up game, with both sides eager to make a statement before their respective campaigns in upcoming competitions.
