Saudi Arabia based defender Ashleigh Plumptre has expressed her delight on her Super Falcons return.
The utility defender was among the players the interim coach of Falcons Justin Madugu invited for upcoming international friendly against France.
Plumptre who was outstanding for Nigeria at the last FIFA Women’s World Cup missing the Paris Olympics due to injury.
“Feels great to have made the super falcons list for the upcoming international games. Good opportunity to fight for the badge again,” Plumptre wrote on the social media.
Plumptre was out for more than 6 months due to injury.
