It was mixed feelings for Nigeria’s Super Falcons in their final test game ahead of the Olympics in Paris.
They faced their counterpart in an international friendly in Seville, Spain on Wednesday evening and it was a victory for Canada after 90 minutes but a victory for Nigeria in the penalty shootout.
Both teams agreed to play a penalty shootout irrespective of the outcome of the game and went into it after regular time of play.
The game was keenly contested and it was Canada who scored the vital goal to carry the day.
Nigeria secured a victory in the penalty shootout 5-4 to wrap up the game.
