After staying in the treatment room in the past few months, injured Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo is back in training.
After helping the Super Eagles to reach the final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, injury affected his performance for his Turkish club.
He further missed major part of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier for Nigeria also.
He confirmed his recovery and resumption on Monday and is ready to help his club.
” It’s been a difficult few months. Glad to be running again.. can’t wait to start helping my team again.. I have missed it”, he said.
