Manager Josep Guardiola has denied that Kevin De Bruyne will leave Manchester City anytime soon.
The club icon has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but his coach says the midfielder will remain with the English champions.
“Kevin is not going,” Guardiola said resolutely at a press conference. “I have been very happy with the team for years.
I don’t know what will happen in the market. If someone leaves, we will talk about it.
For 85 to 95 percent, we will have the same team as last season.”
De Bruyne is on a contract with City until next summer and due to his expiring contract, there has been a lot of speculation about the future of the Belgian international in recent weeks.
According to some rumors, the midfielder has already reached a personal agreement with Al Ittihad.
