Germany’s born, Nigeria descent Nnamdi Collins has decided to play for the German national team ahead of Nigeria.
Collins was born in Germany to Nigeria parents but has decided to represent the German machine.
The youngster is one of the most consistent players in the Eintrancht Frankfurt team this season.
And is aiming to play for the former World champions.
“If one day I had the opportunity to help the national team on the big stage, who wouldn’t be happy? As a child, I always dreamed of it, and it was always one of my goals.
“It’s not on my Christmas wish list for next year, because I want to win the next few games and be part of the U21 European Championship and play well in the European Championship. Those are my next steps and goals,” he explained.
