Belgian Jupiler Pro League side OH Leuven has captured former Nigeria’s Flying Eagles star Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi.
The skilful attacker started his foreign adventures in Slovenia before he secured a move to the Italian Serie A side Salernitana last season.
The 22-year-old was unable to secure a regular playing time with the Serie A club.
The Belgian club announced his arrival on Wednesday evening via its social media handle.
“OH Leuven has acquired its new attacker! Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi comes over from the Italian club US Salernitana and signs a three-year contract with the club”, the club said.
Ikwuemesi was part of the last Flying Eagles team to FIFA U20 World Cup.
