The World soccer ruling body has released the final ranking for the year and the United States of America stayed on top of the log.

The former World champions stayed on top of the table after garnering 2087.55 points and dropped current World champion Spain to the second position.

Germany, England, Sweden completed the top 5 countries in the ranking.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Super Falcons was stagnant on the table and their back to back win against Algeria in an international friendly counted for little.

The Nigerian side did enough to maintain its position as the best on the continent.
