The latest FIFA rankings for April have been released, with World Cup champions Argentina holding onto their top spot.

The Argentine team secured their place in the next World Cup in impressive fashion, thrashing Brazil 4-1.

The top five in the world remain as follows: Spain, France, England, and Brazil.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved up to the 43rd position, earning 1481.35 points. The three-time African champions claimed a 2-0 victory over Rwanda, although they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Zimbabwe’s Warriors.
