World football governing body, FIFA, has officially opened its new Africa office in Rabat, Morocco, solidifying the North African nation’s status as a key hub for the organization’s operations on the continent.

The modern facility, located at the Mohammed VI Complex, is designed to bolster support for African football federations in their development initiatives and reflects FIFA’s commitment to establishing a stronger, long-term presence in Africa.

This development follows the Host Agreement signed last December in Marrakech between FIFA, the Kingdom of Morocco, and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).

With this inauguration, Rabat joins Paris, Miami, and Jakarta as host cities for FIFA offices, underscoring the body’s global strategy to engage with all regions and advance football development worldwide.
