The FIFA hammer has fell on the Russian Premier League club CSKA Moscow for their inability to complete the transfer payment of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Bright Ejuke.

Ejuke joined the Russian giant in 2020 from the Dutch Eredivisie side Hereenven for €3 million.

Since then, CSKA Moscow has been unable to complete the payment and Ejuke has left the club to play for several clubs.

According to FIFA, the ban will be for 18 months and will only be lifted when CSKA pay the money to the Dutch side.

Ejuke is now on the payroll of the Spanish La Liga side Sevilla.
