Fenerbahce have parted ways with Jose Mourinho just eight months after his appointment.
The decision came a day after the Turkish giants failed to qualify for the Champions League league phase, following their elimination by Benfica.
Mourinho, oversaw only two matches this season before his dismissal. Last term, he guided the team to a second-place finish in the Turkish Super Lig but failed to secure any silverware.
During his stint in Istanbul, Fenerbahce were knocked out of the Turkish Cup in the quarter-finals and eliminated by Rangers in the Europa League round of 16.
