Cameroon football icon Samuel Eto’o has secured another four-year term as President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) after winning re-election with a resounding majority on Saturday.
Eto’o received an overwhelming 85 out of 87 total votes cast, reaffirming strong support from delegates and stakeholders within the federation.
The result means the former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward will continue his mission of transforming the structure and development of football in Cameroon both at grassroots and professional levels.
Since taking office in 2021, Eto’o has been credited with reforms targeted at strengthening domestic competitions, improving player welfare, and enhancing transparency and administration across the federation.
His re-election signals confidence in his leadership and a desire for continuity as Cameroon prepares for upcoming international engagements and developmental projects.
With another four years confirmed, Eto’o is expected to further intensify efforts geared toward shaping the future of Cameroonian football.
