Super Eagles head coach Eric Sékou Chelle has revealed that Nigeria’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, featured at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations while carrying an injury.
According to Chelle, the Napoli forward arrived at the tournament with a hamstring problem and went on to play through the competition despite the setback.
“Victor came to the Africa Cup of Nations injured,” Chelle disclosed. “He played the tournament with a minor tear.”
