Despite just being 2 points adrift top spot, the manager of English Premier League club Chelsea Enzo Maresca has insisted that they are not ready to compete for the title.
After Sunday’s 2-1 win over Brentford, the London club takes second place in the Premier League.
“No matter how many games we win, I don’t think we’re ready to compete for the English championship”.
” One of the reasons I think so is that the other top teams had not conceded a goal here against Brentford”.
” We conceded after 90 minutes and that wouldn’t have happened to a team that knows how to win titles,” he said.
Chelsea will face Everton in the next game.
