The England’s Three Lions and the United States are at the loggerheads over the former manager of Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino is believed to be among the candidates touted to replace Gareth Southgate, but the Argentine is also of interest to the United States.
The USA is understood to have been making a check on Ponchettino who would be free to take either of the two countries under the terms of his exits from Chelsea.
It is believed Chelsea would be entitled to take a compensation worth around £5 million if he joined a top 6 Premier League side in the 6 months after his departure — but nothing is standing in his way of taking an international job.
