The Nigerian tennis team will face Morocco in the Davis Cup World Cup Group I playoff following the official draw for the next phase of the competition.
Nigeria booked their place in the Group I playoff after a hard-fought victory over Uzbekistan in Lagos last weekend, a result that marked a significant milestone in the country’s Davis Cup campaign.
The tie against Morocco has been scheduled for September 18–20, 2026, and will determine which nation progresses further in the Davis Cup structure toward the elite tiers of the competition.
