Rangers forward Cyril Dessers has described his encounter with legendary Portuguese coach José Mourinho as a special experience.
The 30-year-old shared the moment in an interview with Breda Newspaper, reflecting on how far he has come in his career.
“I spoke to him once in Italy after a match, and now when we play against each other, he recognizes me. He even came over to say hello after the game,” Dessers revealed.
“I think that’s quite special, especially considering that just a few years ago, I was playing with NAC Breda away to Achilles ’29 in the Dutch second division. I was a Chelsea fan growing up, so I really grew up watching him.”
Dessers, who was recently named Rangers’ top scorer for the season, continues to reflect on his remarkable journey in football.
