Cristiano dos Santos, the eldest son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has earned his first call-up to the Portugal Under-15 national team.

The 14-year-old, affectionately known as Cristaninho, currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, following in his father’s footsteps. He has also trained with youth teams at Ronaldo’s former clubs, Manchester United and Juventus.

Ronaldo shared his pride on social media, posting an image of the squad list featuring his son’s name alongside the caption, “Proud of you, son.”

The young Selecao side is set to compete in the Vlatko Markovic youth tournament in Croatia from May 13 to 18, where they will face Japan, Greece, and England.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and Portugal’s all-time leading scorer, remains an active international. He has five children and famously helped Portugal win their first major title at Euro 2016, despite being injured during the final against France.
