Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has outlined the key changes his team must make in their next outing at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Nigeria suffered a narrow defeat to defending champions Senegal on Tuesday, leaving them with work to do ahead of their next match against Sudan.
Speaking after the game, Chelle emphasized the need for a stronger approach:
“We need to change our state of mind. We must be more aggressive on the pitch. We can’t play football if we lose every ball in the game. We need to be more aggressive offensively and more aggressive defensively,” he said.
The crucial fixture against Sudan is scheduled for next Tuesday at the same venue.
