Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe has congratulated his former club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after their emphatic 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.
The win marks a historic moment for PSG, as they claimed the prestigious European trophy for the first time in the club’s history.
Ligue 1 champions PSG started strong, with Achraf Hakimi and teenager Desire Doue both scoring within the first 20 minutes. Doue added a second goal just after the hour mark, before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and substitute Senny Mayulu sealed the dominant performance with late strikes.
The triumph is a major success for manager Luis Enrique, who reshaped the squad by parting ways with stars like Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Neymar, choosing instead to build around a new generation of talent.
