Nigeria Women’s Football League champions Edo Queens has concluded plans to depart the country for Morocco the venue of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League playoffs.
The Edo State based side qualified to represent the country after they emerged as the champion of the WAFU B regional competition.
According to the update from the club board the team will depart Nigeria on Thursday for the championship slated to start by weekend.
Edo Queens has been placed in group B alongside, Masar FC ( Egypt), CBE ( Ethiopia) and the defending champions Mamelodi Sundown Ladies of South Africa.
