The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the group stage draws for the 2025/2026 CAF Champions League, with Nigeria’s Rivers United placed in a challenging Group A.
The draw, conducted in Johannesburg on Monday, sees Rivers United grouped alongside some of the continent’s most formidable sides RS Berkane of Morocco, Pyramids FC of Egypt, and Zambia’s Power Dynamos.
Rivers United, who impressed during the preliminary rounds, will now face a stern test as they aim to advance beyond the group phase and make history for Nigerian football.
