Despite securing a victory against Sagranca Esperanca, the coach of Rangers International of Enugu is not happy about the performance of his players.

The Flying Antelope has to rely on the solitary strike from the substitute Kazeem Ogunleye to earn a narrow 1-0 win over the Angolans.

While speaking about the game, the assistant coach of the Super Eagles said they prepared well for the game but it was just unfortunate.

He further said they are aiming for a better outing in the second leg.

“It was a game we planned very well but I’m disappointed with how the players approached the match from the beginning.

“We threw away many chances but we hope not to put the players under more pressure.

“We need to encourage them because this game is delicately poised.

“We are happy to have won with a solitary goal and hopefully, we would get our act right in Luanda, anything is possible”, he said.
